I am a rabbi at a really wonderful congregation in Michigan called Adat Shalom Synagogue. Check out the link to our website.
I am a Detroit native and have been fortunate to spend my career here, as well.
I believe we are in an extraordinary time to be Jewish, but are also in a time of transition as profound as the evo/revolution of the Biblical Period into the Rabbinic Period. I am not sure exactly where we are going. I hope to think some of this through on this blog.
Being a rabbi is an extremely verbal position, but I believe there are other powerful ways of expressing our religious and spiritual selves, particularly through meditation, art and music. I have posted a link to some of my music and will host some of the pictures I have made as well. I don’t think I will put any pictures of me meditating, for all our sakes.
